Our 28th Bravura Brunch

Over 250 people enjoyed music and fun at the Bravura Brunch at Innisbrook Golf and Spa Resort on March 5, 2021 while raising about $100,000. The Florida Orchestra North Suncoast Associates have reached into the northern Pinellas county communities to support the education and community engagement programs of The Florida Orchestra.

All were inspired as young children benefitting from the TFO Strings for Kids program in Pinellas County performed on violin and shared what music means to them.

Presenting Sponsor, The Music Gallery – Steinway Tampa Bay, provided the ultimate Steinway Piano Experience, an inclusive tour of the historic Steinway factory in Astoria, NY. Lively bidding made this the highlight of the successful Live Auction. Returning for its annual offering, Dinner with Maestro Michael Francis will be prepared in the winner’s home this year. Bid From the Heart was fun, exciting and very successful.

First Assistant Concertmaster Yefim Romanov played Meditation by Massenet accompanied by Sungkyeong Kim on the Steinway Piano. Yefim was then joined by Associate Principal Viola Chi Lee in Mozart’s Duo No. 1 for Violin and Viola in G Major, K423.

Resident Conductor Daniel Black had a Chat with Emcee and Auctioneer Jason Alpert sharing an inside look at the development of a young conductor. Daniel’s incredible international experience and his past four years with The Florida Orchestra has produced great musical depth and diversity. He is passionate about expanding the core orchestral repertoire to include more contemporary and international composers.

We are all looking forward to the 29th Bravura Brunch, March 4,2023. Save the Date!
