TFONSA held its Membership Recruitment Event on April 29th at the home of Sue Ulrey. The theme this year was Shakespeare in celebration of the Bard’s 460th birthday. TFO Resident Conductor Chelsea Gallo entertained us with amusing anecdotes, shared stories about the life of a conductor and gave us all a conducting lesson which proved to be quite difficult.
The food served reflected many of the Bard’s favorites like glazed drumsticks, savory tarts and pies, meat and root vegetables on a tray, sallet, vegetable pottage and flummeries for dessert.
It was a fun evening. We gained a few members, welcomed many new faces and had a great time. Thank you Sue for providing a very memorable evening.
